Alfa Romeo 'original' early 1990s accessory Car Shampoo
What do you do when despite searching high and low, for years, for an original '90s Alfa Romeo car wash shampoo bottle, you can't find one? The answer, in my case, was to make a replica!

Fiat Grande Punto Mirror Cover
The original nearside mirror cover on the Fiat was seriously faded. Rather than go to the trouble of rubbing it back and primining, a cheap primed cover was bought on Ebay, sprayed exotica red with an old aerosol I had, and blown over with a coat of laquer through a spray gun.

New bike tyre.
The valve snapped off on the rear tyre of my bike, fortunately when I was inflating it and not riding.
As the Metzeler Lasertec was about 13 years old, I decided to invest in a new tyre to go with the replacement valve. I opted for a Pirelli Sport Demon, which looks quite nice.

Not my first visit to Bicester Heritage, but my first Scramble.
Some amazing cars there including (from top left): Hillman Avenger, Morris Marina Coupe, Citroen CX and GS, Nissan Micra Mk1 Colette, Opel Manta B, Alfetta GTV6 3.0 and GTV 2.0, Lamborghini Uraco, BMW M1, Lancia Beta Coupe, Ford Cortina Mk5 Crusader Estatate, Mini 1275GT, Mitsubishi Colt and Datsun Skyline.
