Hagerty Festival of the Unexceptional
This was the 7th Festival of the Unexceptional held, but my first. And it was truly amazing!
Held in the grounds of Grimsthorpe Castle in Lincolnshire, the FOTU celebrated the plain and mundane cars from 25 years ago or more. It's more about the likes of 1980s Ford Fiesta Populars and Hyundai Ponys than Ferraris and the like.
Here are some of my pictures of the event.
Innocenti Regent - The Italian market Austin Allegro that oozes Latin flair.
Incredibly rare now - Hyundai Stellar and FSO Polonez.
Italian rarities including a Fiat Argenta and Super Strada.
French fancies- Peugeot 106 and 104, Renault 5 Prisma and Citroen Visa.
Italian lovelies- Alfasud, Alfa 33 series 1, Lancia Trevi and Fiat Tempra.
Peugeot mainly tennis themed Special Editions including: Roland Garros, Open and Sacre Numero.
